About

Backend Engineer with 4+ years of experience building and maintaining production systems. At The Bubble Hub I led backend development for two mobile products serving 3,000+ monthly active users. My work focuses on ASP.NET Core, Azure, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, and authentication and payment systems.

At The Bubble Hub I owned the full backend engineering lifecycle for two mobile products serving 3,000+ monthly active users: requirements analysis, API contract design, data architecture, implementation, third-party integrations, and production support. I made technical decisions on architecture, data modeling, and security.

The backend I designed covers layered security, event-driven async processing, and complex payment integrations with Stripe, App Store, and Google Play. Every architectural decision had direct impact on performance and user experience.

Before this, at Ernst & Young I worked in enterprise environments with regulated software lifecycles and strict security requirements. That context, marked by SecDevOps, audits, and systems processing millions of daily events, shapes how I approach any design today: security applied from the first commit, not as an afterthought.

I'm currently completing a Master's in Artificial Intelligence at UNIR, focused on backend system design and cloud-native architecture. I'm particularly interested in designing maintainable backend architectures, distributed systems, and cloud solutions capable of evolving over the long term.

Experience

Back-end Engineer

The Bubble HubMalaga, Spain

April 2024 – April 2026

Led backend development for Prodigy Padel Academy and Koru: two mobile products serving 3,000+ monthly active users. Full ownership of the engineering lifecycle: requirements analysis, OpenAPI/Swagger contract design, implementation with ASP.NET Core and Azure Functions, payment integrations (Stripe, Apple IAP, Google Play), and production support. Optimized PostgreSQL architecture, JWT/RBAC/OAuth 2.0 authentication, Redis rate limiting, async processing with Azure Storage Queues, and CI/CD pipelines with SonarCloud in Azure DevOps.

Technology and Security Consultant

Ernst & YoungMalaga, Spain

April 2022 – April 2024

Backend development and SecDevOps in enterprise environments with regulated software lifecycles. ASP.NET components with security applied by design: input validation, data encryption, least-privilege access control. CI/CD pipeline optimization with Jenkins and GitHub Actions. Integration of 10+ security sources into SIEM platforms (IBM QRadar, Splunk, Wazuh).
